The Rolls Royce Corniche 'Last of Line' was a limited edition to commemorate the end of production of Rolls Royces at Crewe. The Rolls Royce production in Crewe lasted from 1946 to 2002, 56 years in total. 56 examples of the Corniche 'Last of Line' were planned to be manufactured and at least 46 examples were built.
Sir Jimmy's was one of only 9 right-hand drive examples made and is numbered 46 to the commemorative plaque on the centre console. The JS of the registration number need not be spelled out: the 247 refers, of course, to the 247 metres medium wave frequency used by BBC Radio 1 from 1967 to 1978.

condition report
There is no service history to this car but it does have MOT certificate.
The last time it was serviced was 14.07.05 at 1620 miles by JTC600 in Leeds .The MoT certificate expires on 15th September 2012.
Generally very good with scratches to lower part of front bumper driver's side and a small dent in the top of the boot. Not taxed at present so would have to be trailered or trade plated. It was driven into the hall by JTC600 for us.
